That job title usually raises a few eyebrows but after years of trying to sum up Celeste Comm under a lot of other buzzwords that never fit quite right, I’ve realized that it all comes back to storytelling.
If we’re being honest, I’ve been a storyteller most of my life.
Way back in 4th grade, my music teacher created a “storytellers club” and volunteered forced me to be a part of it. I remember practicing in front of the mirror with my props, playing around with accents and changing up the wording I’d use to get the most dramatic effect.
I’m sure my music teacher expected these skills to lead me to the theatre, but I quickly realized I could apply those same strategies in writing.
THAT was where I shined! The page was my stage and writing was my passion.
Writing has led me down many roads over the years.
From the prestigious journalism school at Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) to freelancing for publications across the country to authoring a viral blog in the early twenty-teens about life on my family’s farm.
Over time I picked up a few other “props” and added them to my repertoire – graphic design, website creation, photography, video production, and social media strategy.
I’ve been putting my skills to work for clients of all sizes for over a decade and through it all, storytelling has remained at the heart of every single project.
Hi, I’m Celeste and I’m a multimedia storyteller.
Whether it’s your business, your farm, your organization… there’s a story there just waiting to be told. Let’s bring it to life.
Who is this “we” that we keep referring to?
90% of the time, Celeste Comm is a one-woman show. Since Celeste hasn’t figured out how to shoot in 3 places at the same time, she often brings in assistants for large events. Occasionally during a busy season she’ll have some help on the backend keeping up with the clerical side of things or shipping for her Etsy shop.
No worries, your final product is always personally approved by Celeste herself before we hit print or publish!
